Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials
  • Workspace data: name, URL slug, and configuration settings
  • Documents: files you upload for your chatbot knowledge base
  • Chat questions: messages sent to your chatbot, stored encrypted
  • Usage analytics: chat volume and token usage counts
  • Audit logs: actions performed in your workspace

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide the Weaver Chat service: powering your AI chatbot, processing documents into a searchable knowledge base, and enabling analytics in your dashboard. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.

3. AI Processing

Documents and chat messages are sent to OpenAI via their API for embedding and inference. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted via the API is not used to train AI models. We do not use your data to train any AI models.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your entire workspace and all associated data at any time from the dashboard Settings page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Portability — download all your data via the Export feature in Settings
  • Erasure — permanently delete your workspace from Settings at any time
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data by contacting us
  • Objection — object to processing by contacting us

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: an authentication session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) and, for invite-only chatbots, an access token cookie. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser but this will prevent login.

7. Sub-Processors

Supabase (database & storage), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (AI inference), Upstash (rate limiting), Inngest (background jobs). Each sub-processor has been assessed for GDPR compliance.
